Ali strokeplay champion in Winter Medal
Who are we?
We are a Society of golfers from the East Midlands who meet up every few weeks to play quality golf courses at low rates enjoyed by societies.
TOP 10
Ali Mitchell stuck a net 60 (9 under) to clinch victory by 3 shots at the Windmill Village Golf Resort in the WInter Medal. Ali was in devistating form perticularly from the tees and his trusty 5 wood was the weapon he used again and again to obtain his best ever finish.
Dave Glover & Chris Foster led the chasing pack on 63 strokes finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. The sublime Mitchell claimed glory to move to the top of his league in what saw changes in all leagues of the Order of Merit.
Dodds, Lovitt & Betts all had good rounds and the best player in league 2 was Richard Friend who moved to the top of his league with a fine net 66 (3 under)
Elsewhere Mark Seaman won the longest drive and Josh Lovitt won the closest to the pin. Rob Louca had a round to forget as did Dale Unwin.

Yes. We aim to bring golfers together whatever their ability. To join simply email us.
I don't have a handicap?
Many of our members do not belong to golf clubs and so once you have played a few rounds with us you will be issued with a society handicap.
