Sex starved David Mansfield gripped his shaft and sent his balls straight for the hole in the Yellowball challenge at Humberstone Heights GC. The impressive Manty finished birdie-birdie to rack up and impressive 49 points and win his first WMGS event.
We thought Ian Fowler had beat Mike Simpson into second place on countback as the pair scored an amazing 46points. The result had catapulted Fowler to top spot in League One. But due to an incorrect scorecard Ian has dropped to 3rd in the event, luckily we arn't as stiff with penaltys for wrong scorecards handed in!!
Mike Betts added to his growing reputation as one of the best iron-players in the society with not one but two closest to the pin prizes. The Badger as his fans call him added an extra 10 OOM points too to keep his title asperations alive.
Tim Buffham & Lee Miller had little to cheer finishing with 0pts and 5pts to finish in the bottom two. Sam Adams pipped Rob Louca into winning most points in the Premier League.
Roy Shelton, Richard Friend, Dave Lewis & Ben Posnett are all seperated by only 15pts as the race for League 2 Championship hots up.

I don't have a handicap?
Many of our members do not belong to golf clubs and so once you have played a few rounds with us you will be issued with a society handicap.
Who are we?
We are a Society of golfers from the East Midlands who meet up every few weeks to play quality golf courses at low rates enjoyed by societies.
Can I join?
