The season resumes after the winter break at Bosworth Golf Club for the return of The Laurel & Hardy Cup. Last years last place pairing Mike Betts & Bob Burchell will be able to at last put to bed the tag of being the society numpties as a new pairing reluctantly take the title.

The format is a pairs combined stableford from the yellow tees using full handicaps. Pairs are drawn out the hat on the day whilst we have a bacon cob and a cup of coffee. Price is £25 and covers prizes for the winners. The event will also resume the SUPER 18 which is up and running.

With the OOM very close the points are awarded as follows: 100, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 15, 10, 5. There will also be 5pts for LD and CTP winners.

The 1st ever Woodland Mews Golf Society presentaion night will take place at The Lyric Rooms, Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire on Friday 24th August. 48 Tickets go on Sale soon at £25 per person.

The price includes welcome drinks, four course meal and prize giving ceromony for the following awards:
Mayday Matchplay, Champion on Tour (Worcester), League 2 winner, League 1 winner, OOM runner up, OOM winner, Super 18 winner, Kendrick Cup runner up & winner and players man of the year.

Come along support the society and your fellow members and take the opportunity to socialise off the course. Wifes, girlfriends, friends etc all welcome but no children.
