FOWLER & MILLER WIN LAUREL & HARDY CUP
Ian Fowler's 39 pts combined with Lee Miller 31 pts was enough for the pair to win the L&C Cup. Fowler was on fire from the off and after a shaky start Miller started banging in the points to ensure the pair won by 8 clear points.
Chris Dodds scored the highest single total 40pts and the impressive Dodds also claimed the closest to the pin prize with Dave Glover winning the longest drive with an absolute monster of a drive on the 17th.
The loudest cheer was the anouncement that the last place pairing and winners of the Laurel and Hardy tag were Dale Unwin & Richard Friend.

Who are we?
We are a Society of golfers from the East Midlands who meet up every few weeks to play quality golf courses at low rates enjoyed by societies.
Can I join?
Yes. We aim to bring golfers together whatever their ability. To join simply email us.
I don't have a handicap?
Many of our members do not belong to golf clubs and so once you have played a few rounds with us you will be issued with a society handicap.

24th August - WMGS Presentation Night
The 1st ever Woodland Mews Golf Society presentaion night will take place at The Lyric Rooms, Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire on Friday 24th August. 48 Tickets on sale at £25 per person.
